David C. Zilker, D.M.D., is an honor graduate of Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, he served almost five years in the United States Army Dental Corps stationed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington,D.C. In 1980, he returned to his hometown of Easton, PA, and has lived and practiced in the community ever since.

Continuing education and new techniques have always been important to Dr. Zilker. Almost every month, he attends seminars aimed at improving high quality care to maintain being on the cutting-edge of new techniques. Dr. Zilker is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Zilker has other interests outside of dentistry. He enjoys sharing time with his wife, his two grown daughters and their families, a golden retreiver (Lacie) and a buddy cat (Socks). Canoeing, kayaking ( whitewater and seakayaking), hiking/backpaking ( especially in Montana-Yellowstone-Glacial National Park-Bob Marshall Wilderness or in the Canadian Rockies-Lake O'Hare-Yoho Prov. Park), gardening, and searching the web constitute his other major activities. He is an active member in the Appalachian Mountain Club, Lehigh Valley Canoe Club, Allentown Hiking Club, and Jersey Shore Sea Kayak Association. On any given weekend, he's out exploring the local trails with Lacie or kayaking the local water-trails.
